I currently play this on Next Gen, and this is been a very big issue since the last Gen. The Class 377's always have problems with the back door being open. But when it comes to the Ai the doors are closed. Idk why it's like that, but if that can be fixed up that would be nice. There's other issues that should be noted.... but I'll keep it short for now.
The result of too many people working on small portions of the game, not knowing what the other hand is doing, and bad team coordination / poor leadership. Issues like this would be instantly fixed by other developers that are more devoted to quality. It's just your average DTG thing... expect two to three years before it's fixed (or silently given up on).
Spawn in on foot before your selected service starts, run to the back of your train open the yellow and white doors once the service starts you can go back and close them, thats what I do
