Hi guys it's me Driverwoods1787 and I am asking a question about Russian trains used on Ussyurisk Vladivostok including the line to Knevichi airport. Does anyone here know what trains are actually used on that line? Because I'm planning to make my first Russian route and I knew it was electrified in 2000-2003 to 25kv 50hz. Before those years it was diesel powered since I have Old National Geographic magazine from the late 1990s about Trans Siberian Railway. Only ones I know are VL80 VL85 EP1 & VL65

A quick search in Russian suggests the airport link is run by the ED9M EMU. Can't speak for the longer route, it's possible that it doesn't have a fixed consist, things can be harder to rely on in the far east of Russia. Try and search for the consist of 351Э, that would be your best bet.

The long-distance trains on Vladivostok Ussyrisk are EP1M/EP1 25kv 50hz locomotive.
