Good evening and sorry for the continuous questions but I need help and understand how to do it, I installed rw tools, I ask how can I check a scenario and the missing tables? Also the routes if they can be checked thanks to everyone
Either/both depending on your need. If you care about rolling stock I would strongly recommend Locoswap
the problem is that locoswap shows me all the green points but the scenario crashes, there is something wrong that's why I ask you which keys I have to use to test the scenario and rolling stock
Hi mv75 I have the same problem occasionally with LocoSwap as well and have to use TS Tools in those instances. Its not overly difficult to use TS Tools but if you havent used it before it can be a bit overwhelming at first. I would suggest doing a search on You Tube, there is a couple of videos explaining the process for swapping rolling stock. Couple things to look out for, you will need to index your route properties for the routes to show up, it is an option under the 'Route Building Tools' drop down menu. Also TS Tools will not be able to see anything inside an ap file, there are some options to extract 'RouteProperties' files and 'ScenarioProperties' which work well but this will not enable you to see any rolling stock that is inside an AP file, it will also cause TS Tools to report the rolling stock as missing, I would advise against extracting entire ap files as it defeats the purpose of them, for me I use Cobras Raildriver program which has nothing to do with this but has the side effect of extracting the bin files only for rolling stock so it enables them to be seen by TS Tools. You could extract ap files and then delete them afterwards if you wanted to but be mindful of overwriting any mods you might have installed.
A lack of correct loco or stock is unlikely to crash Train Simulator, it would normally throw up an error message on loading a scenario detailing the problem. Many users just dismiss this with the F2 key (more a bodge than a solution) - it will load the scenario without the missing items. If you are experiencing crashes, I'd recommend studying the generated crash information and following that up. John
Thanks everyone for the replies, then I discovered that the BR442 make the scenario crash, I removed a unit and the scenario starts using the alt + F2 function and continues, very strange though because it seems that the basic ones are also installed well, maybe I didn't understand with ts tool which keys I have to press to check the scenario and rolling stock?
The BR 442 is an articulated unit and has to be placed on the track in the correct order Instead of Locoswap just go in to the scenario and change the vehicles manually.
So it's like I said? They're positioned badly. Could you tell me the order? I mean, on locoswap it says A B C D E. A is a locomotive? B is the middle carriage? C is another locomotive? D? And? The filter3 standlers are also causing problems, definitely badly positioned.
It is nothing to do with the positioning of the Unit. If you had that unit the scenario would work fine. The individual cars have to face the correct way otherwise you have two bogies over lapping and no bogie at the other end. Swap the unit IN THE GAME by using the Scenario Editor And the Flirt 3 Stadler units have the same problem because they are also articulated
I corrected the first scenario there were two incorrect compositions of the DB442 repaint, I wanted to ask you very often I find error of the engineer and the longitude where should I act?
