Could not find the answer to this question....is RWenhancer 2 for TS2022 only, or is it also compatible with older versions?
Simply put: Yes. Because there is only one version of TS - Steam will always update the exe to the latest one. The year which they fortunately dropped now is just referring to the routes bundled with it.
You only have to run that once; the subsequent loadings take about 60 seconds. In my experience, RWEnhancer is very useful for quickdrives but less so for scenarios.
TSC doesn't play nice with RWE. RWE can launch the TSC executable but it can't open a scenario on its own. You have to navigate to the scenario menu in TSC after selecting the same scenario in RWE. The other features of RWE don't make up for the hassle. Quickdrive is a bit more manageable since RWE can preset the QD parameters and all you need to do is start the preset quickdrive in TSC. (However, you need to close out and restart TSC in order to play a different quickdrive.. again, TSC does not play well with others.)
Only now I realize you are talking about RWE 2 I found that too confusing and complicated for me, so I sticked with RWE Pro.
Finally it tooked more than 1 hour to finish the process. Now it starts fast but idk why it tooked so long at first run.
