I've started using the safety systems (AWS and driver vigilance) on the UK routes I have that seem to have this. They work fine on the Great Western and East Coast Mainline but I've just done some East Coast Mainline Euston - Milton Keynes runs, turned on the safety systems (I do it manually via the panel at the back of the cab), I'm getting the beeps and acknowledging them, not getting the big pop up telling me to turn on safety systems, but I'm not getting the points for using them, only 35 per time not 65, and at the end of the run the summary says they weren't used. So I can only get gold and not platinum haha...

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong, or do the safety systems not work / register on this line?

Have you turned on all..I would just turn on all or restart the run again?

Which train are you driving? On modern trains you need to make sure AWS/TPWS, Vigilance, and DSD are all on to get the points. Sometimes AWS and TPWS have separate switches. On PC there is a keyboard shortcut to switch them all on without having to get up and check all the fuses.

Thanks for the replies. I think I have them all on, yes. I just toggle all the fuses (for safety systems) at the back so they are normal, not isolated, but I'll try again a bit later. I did look at the keyboard shortcuts, as far as I can make out there are a few of them, not just one to turn on all UK safety features, but again I may have that wrong. I'll look again.

Edit - I'm using the express train, the Class 390 I think?

The PC key combos to activate the safety systems are "Crtl + Enter" and "Shift + Enter" but on some traction you still need to operate some switches to get everything activated. On the Class 390 for example "Ctrl + Enter" should activate the AWS but it only closes the fuse you have to use the key switch on the back wall to de-isolate it.

My guess would be you missed the AWS fuse on the top row, it should be closed, but yeah the keyboard shortcuts ctrl+enter and shift+enter switch everything you need.

    Thanks again for the replies.

Well, I managed to get it working once. Was (I think) the fuse(s) in the picture above, the first three fuses seem to relate to safety systems. But - I had them open, not closed (they are preset closed), also all the safety system keys below the fuses were set to normal not isolated. Anyway, was getting the 65 points at each interval and all the correct audible signals for driver vigilance and AWS.

Frustratingly, having tried yet again to get going with everything working, I can't seem to! Driver error I am sure.

So, I enable safety systems (CTRL + Shift and Enter + Shift), check rear panel fuses are open and that all the key turns below are set to normal not isolated. Is this correct?
    Thanks again.

Edit: Seem to have got it. Fuse (AWS) should be closed, the other two (DSD and DRA) already were. Driver error confirmed. :)

You need to check that fuses are closed, not open. Closed means the circuit is activated (i.e. switched on).

About key combos, on some trains, like the 390 you have to also press Shift + ' to get it all working. Don't know why that is
