Just picked up peak forest in the sale, very good it is as well in my opinion, much better than spirit of steam. Mind you I might be biased as I used to work in the quarrying industry in the area. Anyone else any recommendations, I was wondering about clinchfield.
I like Clinchfield, but a lot of others don't. It's quirky and has a unique style compared to other US freight content. It has a mix of shunting, coal loading and setting up trains for despatch as well as some through running of the entire route. Like all routes, there are some irritating faults and broken things but as I always say - adapt, improvise and overcome
Dresden to Riesa if you haven’t already got it. Niddertalbahn is a nice rural run if you like German stuff. Again without listing what you already have it’s hard to guide, but for the UK NTP plus the heavy freight pack and TVL plus the Class 20 and Class 31 are pretty much mandatory. So long as you don’t mind one handle modern EMU’s then Brighton Main Line still scores well with its intensive timetable.
For $6, Peninsula Corridor is basically a giveaway. I bought it during this sale and have really enjoyed it. It's a US route that includes passenger and freight, so a nice balance of activity.
I honestly wasn’t expecting to buy anything if I’m honest, but as Xbox sales are few and far between, I ended up picking up Oakville Subdivision, Bremen Oldenburg and Sherman Hill all for around £30 total (Perhaps just a little over) I’m really enjoying them all so far
