Ah yes people hello. I do have a route suggestion here for you all so enjoy reading. THE ROUTE The route will cover the stretch from Salisbury in the west to Portsmouth in the east, with 2 different ways of getting from east to west, the stops along the route would be as follows Salisbury - Portsmouth Harbour Via Southampton Central Salisbury Dean Mottisfont and Dunbridge Romsey Redbridge Millbrook Southampton Central St Deny's Bitterne Woolston Sholing Netley Hamble Bursledon Swanwick Fareham Porchester Cosham Hilsea Fratton Portsmouth & Southsea Portsmouth Harbour Salisbury - Portsmouth Harbour Via Eastleigh Salisbury - Romsey Chandlers Ford Eastleigh Hedge End Botley Fareham - Portsmouth Harbour Southampton Central - Eastleigh Southampton Central St Deny's Swaythling Southampton Airport Parkway Eastleigh In total, 29 stations and multiple ways for you to enjoy the route The Rolling Stock Class 158/9 I SWT/FGW The Super Sprinters would be the primary trains seen on the route, the 158 in South West Trains livery covering the Romsey Rocket route from Salisbury to Salisbury Via Eastleigh in a loop, while the FGW 3 car variant would cover services from Salisbury to Portsmouth Harbour Via Southampton Central (And occasionally Eastleigh), as well as dependant on era, Services bound for Brighton from the Westcountry Class 444/450 Desiro The Class 450 and 444 'Desiro' units are EMU's running on 3rd rail power, these would cover services from Totton (as an AI spawn point) to Eastleigh as layers, as well as the Hourly service from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour via Eastleigh, using the north branch. with the 450 also running in tail with these services as well as the Southampton Central - Portsmouth Harbour Half Hourly Shuttle Class 377/4 Electrostar The 377/4 already exists ingame on the ECW and BML routes, and this train would serve on services from Southampton Central - Brighton/London Victoria, ocaisionally once or twice a day going via Eastleigh. Freight Operations Southampton is rich for its freight due to it being home to one of the busiest container ports in the UK and Europe, and has lots of terminals and routes for freight services, wether it be containers heading up north via Eastleigh, or even going out west via Salisbury, running containers. there is also vehicle cargo transportation of Ford and Mini vehicles down to the eastern docks where trains go right alongside the dock, as well as aggregate services from all over the route network connecting all parts of the port, so not only would you be rich in passenger services but freight services too. theres even the possibility for military traffic to be added in as Portsmouth is a rich military port and Southampton has a naval base down at Marchwood on the old Waterside branch line that could be incorporated too. Thank you for reading.
The best idea out there. I would pay literal trillions to have this route. I think an a Class 66 or 59 would be included running Fareham or Chicester Quarry - Merehead Quarry and the - Westbury Down T.C/Westbury Down T.C - Eastleigh East Yard
