I'm typically familiar with finding the tasks on stations (like route signs , posters etc)
What are the 4 things that I need to do in sand patch, and where am I supposed to be looking? After all there's no stations and it's a very big route, am I correct in assuming they're at yards and the waypoints?

    Warning: long post ahead

Sand Patch has 4 tasks to do: safety posters, no trespassing signs, snow markers and hard hats. There is no method to the madness, they can be located anywhere and everywhere even out in the middle of nowhere.

Safety posters: If you played the first game, these are like the maps. They usually go on buildings and occasionally on a fence. Just keep an eye out for the white area on such places to place the poster.

No Trespassing sign: I didn't have much luck with these. Probably since I thought there were only 3 types of tasks. These are found very randomly on the dirt areas around the tracks. The location is a small metal pole sticking from the ground and the sign goes on top of it.

Snow Markers: These are the white and orange poles you see around the tracks. The ones you are looking for are the ones on the ground. Some can be found near road crossings, but a lot are out in the middle of nowhere.

Hard Hats: Just your ordinary white hard hat that someone lost. These can sometimes be found around trucks near the tracks, by buildings or work materials such as lumber or rails. I did find one behind a building in the middle of nowhere that was unobtainable because the edge of map boundary stopped me from getting it.
