Sandpatch Route Stalling On Hills / Hill Starts

    Why dose my train go backwards on hills struggle to get up hills i have 2 locos are they set up correctly i also loose speed going up hills

    Im driving the modern loco the ge ac4400 do i have to set it up for double loco running and how, do i do it the instructions on link are for the other loco

    The assumptions are always the same.
    Individual locomotives differ slightly in terms of control.

    GL :)

    PS In AC, the valves are set via IFD (screens)

    Thanks can someone let know how to set up the ac what do i do on the cab computer screens how do i get power from both locos still rolling bbacl down the hill after stopping red, signal on hill

    I'll add that for the AC4400CW you just use either one of the screens on the lead locomotive and I think it's F3 and F8 to set up brake cut out and MU lead. Someone can correct me.

    MU, i.e. a pair of locomotives at the front - as in my table.
    DPU, i.e. a set of locomotives at the rear of the train - for DPU settings to be correct - just turn ON Banking Comm (radio) in the locomotive in front.
