I just played the SD40-2 introduction. As I am an experienced player, this is not really needed, but it is in the journey...

I felt disappointed because the tutorial is not updated for the new engine startup procedures. I miss the instructions to set the engine run switch, the cutout valve and the MU valve. This may create trouble for new users.

Is there any tutorial which is, actually, useful?

Indeed, Rudolf, not to mention setting up MUs which gave me a hard time trying to run the heavy 52 cars train...
So I understood that the Cut-opp valve should be set to «Freight» and the MU-2A valve to «Lead or Dead» but I would be nice to know when to use the «4-24, 26» settings !
I found some useful tips albeit not much in the Train Sim Wiki https://train-sim-world.fandom.com/wiki/Driving_the_SD40-2,_GP38-2_and_GP40-2, but more interesting was a basic guide I found in Steam on setting up a Consist of two locomotives – written by an actual train mechanic! https://steamcommunity.com/app/530070/discussions/0/133259956017066620/
