N700S the latest JR West Shinkansen set and ordered by both Texas and Taiwan High Speed Rail for Export has a tilting Mechanism like the Dresden-Chemnitz Werdau DB BR612 with the Speed of DB BR403/406 ICE 3 TGV Duplex TSW 4. This is followed by TSC DB BR407 Velaro D and Euroduplex for TSC Strasbourg-Koblenz via Frankfurt am Main and Mannheim Route. When the power is Cut it uses SCib Batteries in low speed mode link is from the English wiki.

Therefore making the N700S like the ECML Peterbrough-Doncaster York Class 801 in Diesel power for low speed moves.

    Here’s its interior also from my Mum’s S20 upload_2026-1-29_19-20-54.jpeg upload_2026-1-29_19-20-54.jpeg

N700 Older Version of the N700S built from 2005-2020 has two versions the Tilt Capable used for Tokaido/Sanyo lines and the non tilting version used Kyushu/Sanyo lines.Kyushu/Sanyo sets are the N700 R/S Sets

    Service pattern

From the JR West Website Kyoto to Okayama takes 60-80 minutes with the fastest being the Nozomi Sanyo/Tokaido line while a Hikari Service between the two adds an extra 20 min. Others use a JR Kyushu Mizuho/Sakura train from Shin Osaka to Okayama with a Tokaido Shinkansen Nozomi trip that runs Kyoto to Shin Osaka. To do this service patten go to JR West main page Timetable/Route finder enter Kyoto as Departure Station Destination Okayama.

Licensing the route itself is entirely owned by JR West and Central however when they have to put in the 500 series Shinkansen this needs both JR West and Sanrio for the Hello Kitty Livery

    Anticipation

Brings in the will requested bullet trains of Japan to the game additionally parallel Narrow Gauge lines can be playable if one owns Tadami Line like the Segment around Okayama and The Kyoto to Osaka Leg.

Mix you end up playing with the express Nozomi Trains followed by JR Kyushu Mizuho Semi Fast Hikari trains and Kodama the all stations services

Prominence this is the Kansai regions Main High Speed Line towards Tokyo and down to Kagoshima and Fukuoka via Okayama and Osaka

    Shinkansen Trip Kyoto to Okayama

    Final Thoughts
There is a reason to why Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen Kyoto to Okayama must be added into trains Sim world 6. These are bringing in the highly requested Japanese bullet trains additionally players must be used to running them on time and precised something that they're Japanese rail network is known for. Additionally players should be accustomed to a mix of express and all station bullet trains during the rush hour they'll be bunched and spaced to create a hectic scenes at all the stations from Kyoto to Okayama via Himeji. Lastly you will drive by the Keihanshin region country side and urban scenes with you passing the NG trains like the Kiha40 of the Tadami Line and also the cherry blosoms. Since in the Kyoto area the Shinkansen uses the same Viaducts as the NG JR West trains. Overall this is why the Keihanshin HSR must be made for TSW6.

Nice suggestion, but who is going to build it? So far as we know, only UW are 3P’s for Japanese content and still to release Tadami Line. Given how long that has (still is) been in production it could take them years to do a follow up project. It also depends how successful how Tadami is I suspect, if DTG decided to commission another Japanese route. We know train simmers in Japan tend to be rather parochial and prefer their home made products such as Densha de Go, the Ongakukan drive the video clip games or freeware BVE.

I can probably see UW do this the problem here is going to be their art Department depicting the massive Viaducts of the Sanyo/Tokaido line at Kyoto Station the way it is set up western end 7 tracks but grows to 22 tracks the closer you are to Kyoto station. If you look at this on the fast service it only takes 1 hour to do the entire 125 miles 200 km run
