    Route Length:
    ~68 km (42 miles)

    Rolling Stock:
Included: BR 143 + Halberstadt coaches, or 1st/2nd Gen Dostos
    Layers: BR 112, BR 143, BR 155, BR 232, BR 298, etc

    Gameplay: Express, regional. shunting, freight

Scenery: Coastal views of Baltic sea, Bodden (lagoon) landscapes, Rügendamm, industrial infrastructure like Mukran Port

    Licenses: DB

    Time Period: 1998

    Similar Add-ons:
Ruhr-Sieg Nord (freight and shunting gameplay)
Tees Valley Line (gritty industrial atmosphere)

    Why this route:
This would be a route with a mix of scenic views of Rügen and industrial vibes, ending at Sassnitz Fährhafen (Mukran Port), unique for both standard and broad gauge track. The port handled both freight and passenger boat trains (using the Königslinie, bound for Trelleborg, Sweden) until 2020, when the service was ended permanently :(. There would be a variety of services, such as regional services, the Berlin Night Express, freight, and shunting at the port. Most services would be electric (electrification was complete in 1989), but the BR 232 could still appear for occasional heavy freight runs. It would have a mix of old and new branding, liveries, and architecture.

Other options for the era include:

Before 1989 - the upsides for this would include it being before electrification (finish in 1989), and more interesting branding (Deutsche Reichsbahn, Senftopf liveries). The Sassnitz Express would go to Sassnitz harbour, instead of the new port (which was not built yet). The downside would be less variety of rolling stock, and I am not sure what loco would be included (since the upcoming BR 232 is going to be a separate loco DLC).

2019 - this would be easier to get references for, and would still include the Berlin Night Express services (which ended in 2020). This option however would not include the BR 232, and would have less interesting branding (modern DB, traffic red).
