    Hi Guys,

Bit of a long shot but I had to reset my PS4 as it wouldn’t download the 8:03 update. This wiped everything off so I had to redownload everything including TSW2 and DLC.

Obviously now my custom liveries, scenarios and progress have all gone yet the mastery challenges remain completed. It somehow remembered I’ve done them.

Does this mean there a way to get all my save data back or not?

Unless you saved your game data to the PS Plus cloud or to an external USB drive then no, your data is gone. Mastery will still show as complete because it isn't stored locally on the PS4 but is linked to the Dovetail Live system.

    Ah shame but thank you.

I have PS Plus but don’t think I’ve ever saved it to a cloud. Do you know how to do that as I will in future?

PS Plus should of sent a save file to the cloud automatically, however if you have launched the game and saved since, it may of overwritten it.

You can access PS cloud saves just by hovering over the game on the PS dashboard, then selecting the options button, there will be a cloud save option on that list, you can also access the saves in the PS settings.

You have to set it up to automatically save and upload to the cloud. If you haven't enabled it, it won't do it automatically.

Cool I will do. It’s the liveries I miss- I spent many, many hours on them.

Nevermind the trains still work lol.

That's part of Dovetail Live, so it's stored on servers.

It preserved the tasks of craftsmanship because all the data you delete never disappears without a trace.
