Hello wonderful people of this forum,

I went into hiatus for quite a while and was kinda burned out with sim-games. Recently I wanted to get back into driving my routes and the free upgrade to TSW5 came in handy enough.

Back when I stopped playing, which must have been somewhere clsoe to the release of TSW4, I remember fixing saving in the game was a high priority for the devs. Since I did not follow pretty much any updates ever since, I wonder if you could enlighten me whether you can actually save in timetable or scenario mode without breaking the route, and loading into said savegames without breaking the route?

This is what always annoyed me, and prevented me from playing most freight routes.

Thanks in advance for an update on this!

Save game is fairly reliable now and has been throughout TSW4 too.

The main issues to be aware of...
Some red signal lock ups still occur after loading into a saved game, but nowhere near as bad as previously.
Some level crossing car stoppers seem to no longer work resuming a save, but again that's an old issue.
And the other one is that if you start a run, save it load, finish the run then return to free roam and take over another train, if you save that more than likely the clock and objective data will fail to load when you try and resume.

But for 95% of what you want to do, it's okay.

Oh and still only one save slot, despite all these routes.

Oh, honestly, I did not expect to hear that it is actually working. Will gladly try this and see for myself.

    Appreciate the answer, thank you!
