Last summer I spent some time working on building the Forge Valley Line that runs from Pickering to Scarborough. In this project, I used blender to recreate a 1950's version of Scarborough station. Although the line closes in 1950, I thought this would allow the model to work in the context of the next decade too. I tried to use as many sources as I could find to keep it historically accurate using images especially. This time was a very big changeover period in terms of the styles, designs and general architecture of the station, so this was a difficult task I have maybe completed half of the Forge Valley Line in terms of scenery, that being in the west. I also have a blender model for Malton in the works too although for now I'm not sure how much time I can assign to that. How much time I can assign to developing it. Really, I wanted to develop a triangle between the three towns, linking them by their old railways, and in the very very distant future, link them up to York. I've never shown anything before, never mind created a thread, but I thought I'd create this thread to track the progress of this route, and even though this is a hobby for me it's sometimes difficult to find the time to work on it. The Scarborough model is a little incomplete and there are some issues on the model from baking and colours and stuff, but I'll show some screenshots here with a little bit of scenery around too:
