Hi All, Pretty new to more complex scenario creation. I would like to setup a scenario where 2 locomotives are sitting around the turntable on Sand Patch route on different tracks and the user's task is to drive each one individually, set them up the right way facing, and connect them together at the refuelling station. Is that possible to achieve? I'm just thinking how that would look in the timetable. Would I create a service for each loco then put the stopping location at fuel depot and link them? Any hints much appreciated. Thx
Ok, I got 1 loco connected to another loco after reading Matt's turntable explanation. Now, what if I want to add a third to the formation and move that to the refueling section. e.g, locoA using turntable connects to locoB (consist now locoA+B). Loco C uses turntable to connect to LocoA+B and then move (LocoA+B+C) to refueling area. Thx
Matt created scenarios involving coupling in an editor preview all those years ago. Maybe you should take a look.
Thanks. I've checked all those and understand the coupling etc. What I don't understand 100% yet show end service works for player service. e.g, can I have 3 different formations as player services and get the player to jump in and drive each one in a single scenario? Also, the effect of using turntables. I have got it working sort of, just ironing out some issues with the objectives etc. And running a simulation doesn't work as I am using the turntable for multiple 'services'.
