So I’ve created a freight scenario within WCML Carlisle - Preston. Plenty of Ai services added, no issues there, all looking good. The question I have is - How do I edit my player service so that it gets routed onto the slow line to allow for priority passenger services to pass?. I’ve completed the Southbound liner scenario, therefore know it can be done, I just cannot find any information on how to implement it. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks!.
Are you creating your scenario using the in-game Scenario Planner? If so then it is very unlikely that you will be able to re-route your player service via any loops or slow lines unless that particular path had been mapped in by the developer. And, in most cases, the developers (all of them) provide a relatively small number of paths that can be used in scenario creation preferring to spend their resources on Timetables rather than Scenarios. I don't have WCML yet but I imagine the statement above still holds true. Unless the developer has given you a path that uses the slow lines then, with Scenario Planner itself, you are a bit stumped for the moment. You mentioned the Southbound Liner scenario that came with this route. Chances as, as it is an official scenario, this has been made using the full TSW Editor software which will be a far more powerful beast and will give options to the developer that we as users don't have yet. However we do have access to the Public Editor where it is possible to make a scenario of the type you are proposing. However using the editor is completely different to make a scenario in-game. You have to learn a completely new set of skills to do that.
Thanks for replying and providing a very thorough explanation. Sounds like a DTG/console limitation il just have to deal with atm!
