Hi everyone, I just thought of this looking at the TS marketplace section and seeing other scenario packs for other routes. As a fan of the class 390 pendolino and WCML in general I think dovetail should release some scenarios for all 4 WCML routes from WCML south, WCML Trent Valley, WCML Over Shap and the WCML north. I suggest scenarios use the class 221 voyager, class 390 pendolino (both from WCML south) class 325 mail train (there is a mail depot on the WCML south after all), class 170 DMU, Scotrail commuter trains for WCML north, EWS class 66, class 67 diamond jubilee, class 66 freightliner, class 59 DB Schenker, plus a few others that might be seen along the WCML.
Just to point out my idea of why WCML routes would be a good idea for scenario packs, just look at Realtime Trains - Departures from London Euston, Realtime Trains - Departures from Glasgow Central, Realtime Trains - Departures from Preston and Realtime Trains - Departures from Rugby
That's way too much payware for a scenario pack on Steam. DTG isn't ATS, remember. They don't expect you to buy everything possible for an area, they use a couple of trains plus anything that comes with the route and that's their setup.
Are you sure about that? DTG is known for DLC spam and whatever it takes for them to make money they'd do it.
Not always, some have a landslide of DLC, if any these are just suggestions and there can be like 4 parts, 1 for each route.
If you choose to buy a scenario pack, you need those items to play the scenarios. If it your choice whether to buy the pack. If you already own the trains, the pack may be worthwhile. Otherwise you need to buy the trains to play the scenarios in it. But for route DLC and loco DLC that they themselves make. There is rarely DLC creep. This is more Just Trains, in terms of Steam purchases.
