I tried to make a Christmas themed scenario, where you have to get commuters home for the Christmas holidays. The game had a problem with 'Name or description not allowed'. The name was: 'Whiteout Night Out' (as in a snow storm) and the description read: "Baby it's cold outside (you know, like the song title) Make sure these commuters have themselves a merry little Christmas (you know, like the song words) by getting them home for the holidays." Can anyone please tell me why the software would flag that as inappropriate? I tried modifying it in several ways, but nope. Is it the word 'Christmas' that's at fault, or 'white'. Or is it merry? I don't know. If it's the C-word, then it's pretty poor if we're afraid of upsetting people who don't believe in Christmas. DTG what's going on here? Who makes the list of bad words?
Try to remove the words one by one and see when it accepts the title. In the word passenger the system sees ass which for reasons entirely mysterious they do not consider decent. The censor must have a very dirty mind to recognize that.
Yea I tried to do something similar and ended up having to name it “winter run” or something corny like that. That filter is on absolute steroids.
Nothing more frustrating than keying in a paragraph of description (that is now impossible to edit with a mouse but that's another story) when uploading a file and then coming up against the profanity blocker. Mind you at least no-one has been daft enough to create a route with either Blackpool or Liverpool in it...........oh !!!
