When I set the scenery density slider in the editor to maximum it will not stay there. After saving and reopening the scenario some of the assets are missing and when returning to the editor the slider has returned to the notch before maximum. I have the in game Master Detail set to highest and am running the latest beta version. This is a recent issue and affects several routes.

I thought you set the Scenery Density in the Game Settings to apply to all routes?

Why you want to set the scenery slider in the editor? Just put the master slider to max and all's there, like Peter said.

Some routes are locked for editing (lock symbol bottom right)
Workshop routes/scenarios also (due to synchronisation).

As stated in game setting ARE set to highest. Third time is a charm. Closed game, cleared cache, did a cold reboot of the computer, reloaded game, opened settings set to maximum again. This time it kept the settings. Sometimes you guys need to hit me with a stick to get my attention. At 75 things are not as crisp as they once were. Thank you for your patience.
