Thought I'd just start a thread where we can share our tips and tricks for scenery placement. There's a mind boggling array of different things you can do with this powerful tool. And I've just scratched the surface. Here's one for starter - I think the lineside grass works quite well in this shot, and it draws out nicely. Use ST grass patch asset (I'm using PetDoncaster), scale it to max 0.15, crank up the density a bit to your liking , untick the shadows (not needed really), and just paint the lineside for quite a nice effect. Haven't seen much of an effect on perf. Add some ST grass thick (scale it up a bit) for some variety. Looking forward to seeing other folks work and scenery tips.
