The Dorrigo railway line aka "Rag tag line", serviced the fertile dairy country high in the Dorrigo plateau, New South Wales, Australia, delivering the produce down to the North Coast line at Glenreagh 41 miles away.
Proposed 1910, the mountainous rainforest terrain meant that it wasn't completed until 1924.
A scenic route, the price being the repeated washaways and landslides.
