So just recently bought ScotRail Express: Edinburgh - Glasgow Route Add-On I've always known Dovetail doesn't give two s**** about people in the US but man was it overly made clear that they don't care about us routes when I saw the detail put into this route, from pianos to elevators to little gift shops it blew my mind. I'm thinking about petitioning Dovetail to change the Game's name from Train Sim World to Europe train sim
Ah yeah, us Europeans really wanted those pianos & elevators. Honestly man, if that’s what you’re looking for, I’d recommend a different game.
And the missing major exits from Waverley station? The awful sounds at launch? The rain bugs? The neon lit tracks in tunnels?
Piano & Lift Sim World just doesn't flow off the tongue nicely so Rivet thought they would combine it in with this route.
Train Sim World doesn't refer to the World that is Earth, it refers to the World around the trains and lines we have featured. Also, Rivet made this route, not Dovetail.
US routes are pretty turd anyway. Boring freight or boring passenger. Euro routes have much more appeal, decent rolling stock and generally wanted more than US
That would be personal opinion and you can't assume everyone thinks the same. Irl, the US rail isn't great but in game, I find them all interesting. I like taking control of a heavy freight train going downhill. It keeps me on my feet and I can't just ignore what's going on. I also like passenger services due to learning how acses/atc/ases works. Once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty easy system to understand and use.
That is your opinion, not fact. There is an entire continent here that would disagree with you and in fact have the same opinion about UK and Euro routes.
You mean the US that has a good mix of passenger and freight routes whereas all UK and European routes are mainly passenger with freight as an afterthought? At least the USA is one of the three main countries that have routes.
