Train Sim World 3 Scotrail Inter7city Class 43 Hst Add-on

Today I will be suggesting the ScotRail Inter7Ciry Class 43 for TSW 3. This add-on only applies to Glasgow - Edinburgh (as far as I'm aware) which as you know operate at 125mph like all the other 43s. The fleet numbers are: 003, 021, 026, 028, 030, 031, 032, 033, 034, 035, 036, 037, 124, 126, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 141, 142, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 150, 151, 152, 163, 164, 168, 169, 175, 176, 177, 179, 181, 182, 183, 185. The reason I think this should be added is that this is one of Scotlands fastest units and has a huge history of importance. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

 

Doesn't run on the route anywhere but Edinburgh - Haymarket or Glasgow QS - Croy.

Also doesn't stop at Croy and I don't think it always stops at Haymarket either, so it would just be an AI Pack.

Fife Circle Line or Edinburgh - Dundee would be a good way to introduce it, imo.

 

I think there’s enough hst in train sim world for the time being. We need new rolling stock first

 

good point we still haven't got a 156, 153, 142, 143, 144, 155, 150/0 or /1, 195 and all these besides the 155 are everywhere

 

A third of the trains you listed don't exist anymore (142, 143, 144). A further four of them only run with one TOC (155, 150/0, 150/1, 195 - All Northern) and another one of them only runs with two TOCs (153 - ScotRail and Transport for Wales)

The only one you listed that is found even remotely 'everywhere' is the Class 156.

 

If anything I'd say we really need a class 170 next, they really do operate all over the country with a variety of train operators.

I think it would be a good idea for the ScotRail 43 to come as a secondary train in a future ScotRail route.

especially given its current lack of use and that theirs 2 of the 43’s, so it shouldn’t be too high of a demand like MML to get it as a 2 train route.

 

Lack of use? It’s got enough use already. It’s already in action on 2 routes and as I said before, we need new rolling stock before going back to the hst

 

I didn’t refer to the lack of ability to use the MML or GWE 43, I was talking on the ScotRail 43 and it’s practical use should it be available this instance (Lack of use)

technically a 43 is on 6 routes also. (GWE/MML/LC/SEHS/BKL/BCC)

and as I suggested above it may be practical to get hold of it with a 2 loco route (so a new loco also), due to the fact that it’s already received development, to what I’m aware of everything but the ScotRail passenger interior and livery.

 

Would need the electronic doors added too but otherwise I fully agree. Imo it’s the best livery on the HST outwith the original intercity one.

The livery of the I7C Hst is second only to the West Highland Explorer 153s.
