Introduction Hello! It's been too long! Time for another suggestion! This time in the form of the Scottish East Coast Mainline with a branch line around the fire circle line to Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes with Thornton and then back to Edinburgh. Lots of good rolling stock to choose from for this route plus an added bonus of amazing iconic Scottish scenary and a good mix of high speed and slow (ish) suburban rail travel. So let's get into it! The Route This route goes from Edinburgh Waverley to Dundee with a branch going through Glenrothes and back to Edinburgh. It's 53 miles give or take and goes over the Forth Rail Bridge and the Tay Bridge. It has a wide range of suburban city scenary to beautiful Scottish Highland mountains and countryside. Journey times range from an Hour and a half to just 30 mins. This route will allow players to make use of Haymarket depot and do stock moves from Haymarket to Edinburgh with the trains included. Trains Class 170 The class 170, being the only completely new train is a must have for this route and is a very fun DMU to drive. Built by bombardier it has a top speed of 100 mph and is part of the Turbostar family. That name should sound familiar as these trains are the parents to the Electrostar family of class 377's, class 387's, class 375's and more, already in TSW. Scotrail have refurbished their class 170's and they now have first class, standard class and the common Saltire moquet on the seats. The cab is very spacious and has a TMS screen as well as all the other safety systems a modern day train would need. These trains have very good acceleration and sound like absolute beasts when driven well. Hopefully if this route comes to TSW then you will all see what I mean about these trains. Class 158 The class 158 (already in the game) is an express sprinter with a top speed of 90 mph. These trains were put into TrainSimWorld3 by Skyhook Games and are excellent. Hopefully I don't need to go into too much detail as you should already have an idea of what they are like. Dovetail games should be able to recycle these trains fairly easily and freshen up the interior with the scotrail moquet on the seats as well as carpeting, new PIS screens, luggage racks and no coach labels on the doors. As well as obviously a different livery on the exterior. Personally I think the scotrail livery look really nice on these trains so it would be great to see it put in the game as my favourite version of the train. Class 43 Inter7City HST Built by British Rail. Used by British Rail. These trains are some of the most iconic trains in the UK. They have a top speed of 125mph and are used by many train companies. When Great Western Railway decided to phase out their HST sets ScotRail decided to buy them off GWR and refurb them into the Inter7City sets in Scotland today! They now have electric sliding doors outside and inside. A striking good Inter7City livery. First class. PIS displays. Scotrail carpets and moquets on seats. Jokes on cupboards such as: Bag pipe practice room, onboard whiskey distillery, tartan paint storage room and more. Hopefully dovetail games can recycle the (currently in the game) GWR HST's and refurb them like scotrail did in real life. This route is probably the best one to have to showcase some of the best of Scotland. I'd love for it to be made so that TSW players not so familiar with Scotland don't just think we're all about boring high speed lines and short commuter lines. If this route gets made it could possibly be the most scenic UK route for TSW yet! This would be amazing to see in the game! Especially with the new TSW3 graphics! Please, let me know what you think of this suggestion below. Thank you,

Hey Nathan it has been a while. Great suggestion. Decent size, good selection and non linear. I think that the 220/221 and 800 are more likely to come with future routes and layer onto this one.
Like Javelin said. Would do anything for that bridge. Also did anyone see the 360 video of flying scotsman going over it?
Thank you all! It's good to be back! tft#6439, I'll include the flying Scotsman in the potential dlc list.
