To get RW Enhancer 2 to work I seem to need to run TSC in Windowed Mode, as in Borderless I can't see the RW Enhancer green start button. My monitor is 2560x1440, but the highest value in the Resolution drop down list in TSC is 1920x1200. Changing the value for 'ScreenResX' and 'ScreenResY' to 2560 and 1440 seems to make no difference in Windowed Mode as TSC just reverts to a default value when I start the game. The same happens if I delete PlayerProfiles.bin' and let it rebuild. So, is it possible to change the Windowed Mode resolution to 2560x1440. Many thanks, Tim
My TSC is fine in full screen mode when using RWE2. Once you press the green button in RWE2, then RWE launchs the TSC QD or scenerio (as long as Steam is open), so I personally I never seen the need to go back to RWE2 once the scenerio has been launched and TSC is running. Once the QD or Scenario is completed, then RWE2 completes first (red button), and then TSC ends the scenario as normal.
Set the screen resolution in game with fullscreen selected, save and exit it TSC. reopen TSC and go to settings and change to window borderless, DO NOT CLICK ON THE SCREEN RESOLUTION DROP DOWN LIST! save and exit TSC and the resolution should stick and you'll now be in borderless.
The problem for me is that after I've cooked RWE2 and clicked the scenario I want to run, I only see the green button for a second before it disappears, and consequently I can't press the button.
I'm sorry if I'm not understanding you Reef, but your screen shot seems to show a Borderless resolution, and my issue is in Windowed Mode.
My resolution always reverts to fullscreen (5120x1440) when I try to use 2560x1440 window or borderless mode. 2560x1080 works fine, but it would be really nice to have 1440.
There is no good reason or need to use windowed mode it is much better to use borderless, I myself used to use RWE2 with borderless, my method allows the screen resolution to recognise your actual screen settings that only show in fullscreen mode. It is high time this issue was addressed and rectified though TrainSim-Steve
Tried that method but it still forces it back to 5120x1440. The reason for using window mode is to be able to move the window, I find this usefull when I work on my projects.
