How do I get my screen shots into the Online sharing hub so that I can share a creation from Livery designer with you lovely people. I know someone will have the answer. It’s my first attempt at using the Livery Designer.
You must take a Dovetail Live screenshot, not a regular screenshot. On PC, this is achieved by pressing Ctrl+F10. This screenshot is then uploaded to DTL servers, under your account, and will be accessible to Creator's Club.
Thanks for responding to my post, but I am still lost. I’ve got three screenshots stored on my laptop, but I cannot workout how to get to the DTL servers. I’m afraid I need a nail by nail description on how to get to the place where they need to be. In other words, ‘HELP’. Thanks in advance.
If you have used Ctrl+F10 then the "Fan Shots" will be automatically uploaded to the DTG site. If you have screenshots on your laptop then that suggests you have taken them another way. However you should just be able to drag and drop your screenshot file straight in to your next forum post. You should be able to do that in your reply to this post in this thread. Give it a go.
Using F12, Ctrl+F12, or photo mode will not work here. In the game, press 2, 3, or 8 and set up the camera angle. Once you are happy, press Ctrl+F10 to take a Dovetail Live screenshot. Only these can be used in Creator's Club. Let me know if that still doesn't make sense. The OP is trying to upload his screenshots to Creator's Club, not the forums. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to transfer locally stored files to DTL servers or Creator's Club.
Just to check mate are you signed into a dovetail live account in the game? If you are unsure of this, when in the menu screen look the the top right where your name, level and character are it should say connected to Dovetail live. If it doesn't say this you will need to set up and sign into a dovetail live account. I hope I have grasped the right stick here, and the right end of it would be even better. If neither of these, sorry!
