A Class 50 crawls along the North Somerset Railway in 1973 with a "farewell excursion." I am totally aware that the large logo livery wasn't applied until the late 70's but I still really like the look of it, and this is only a few years before. I'm also 99% sure that there wasn't any kind of farewell excursion like this but hey, it does look really nice.
By the banks of a slow flowing river, passes a train in the earlier hours of the day. Loco: N/A Route: Wearsdale and Teesdale Rail Network

It's the 1950s and a Class 76 hauls a mixed fitted and unfitted train of coal hoppers up the Woodhead Route from Wath.
We return to the grimy days of the late 50s, just north of Carlisle in the UK, where traffic is busy on the West Coast Main Line as represented in the Western Lines of Scotland route with LMS Black 5s and a BR Class 27 all working hard on a fine summer's day.
Good news - Armstrong Powerhouse is doing a complete Class 50 pack (the official one on Steam is showing its shortcomings, even with the AP sound pack). Their class 37 pack is superb - hopefully the 50 will be just as good. It's just too bad we won't be able to use it in these screenshot threads.
