I don't drive SD40s much, so going beyond stopping and asking dispatch for assistance, would there be a way to work around an anti-slip failure on one of four locos ? To me, it looks as if it's a consist error in the first place as there doesn't appear to be enough power to move at a sensible speed. The problematic loco looks OK to about 2mph, so is there a way to hold the speed at that without wheelspin ? Do all the locos act the same to control inputs or, for instance, could the torque be dialled down on the second loco ?
