Feature Sd40-2 Tanker Car Refueling.

question could this game support locomotive refueling by tanker car. i seen pics of some sd40-2 bn that have tanker car in the middle and i guess on long run back in 90s they can refuel sd40s while go to there destination. i know the routes are not long but maybe scenario engine low on fuel and need refuel while moving or something.

 

But there is no real use for it, and aside from the 1 BN example, every other use of it has been with CNG locos, which most have been just experiments.


Only one not is the FEC use of them, but DTG doesn't have a license for that ATM.

 

BNSF has a couple of SD70ACes and ES44ACs that use Natural Gas fuel mixes too.

 

Again, those are only test sets, in the 2000's and recently, and are NOT in full service.
