According to the Steam announcement for the TSW2 "New Journeys Expansion" package, the SD40 CSX-s engine should be "Operable in Timetable Mode on ... Sand Patch Grade ...", but it doesn't show up in the "carousel" of available engines. Am I alone in this apparent defect?
What? Where? .................. This is the SD40 CSX-s livery featured in the "New Journeys Expansion" package: This is the CRR SD40 livery: Neither of these two engines even comes close to resembling the SD40 CSX-s livery and there's nothing hiding behind either one of them. BTW: in order to drive this pair you have to catch them first, since as the session opens they're sitting on a steep grade with no brakes engaged!
Holey Moley! I'll give this a try and report back. Yep!! Many thanks, breblimator. I'd never had occasion to use the livery change button before. Now, if only DTG would care enough about us to tell us these things. Let's see: how on earth could they do that? In a users' manual, perhaps? Mirabile dictu [~what a thought).
You mean the Q key PC or consoles with Keyboard Consoles Square PlayStation 4 & 5 Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One X button
Thanks again to breblimator for telling me how to access the SD40 CSX-s livery on the Sandpatch route. ============================================ For those who also have TheShotte's TS-SPG-CSX-MP15DC mod installed, this is the pair of engines you'll see in the "New Journey's Expansion Pack" services for that livery: If you prefer a pair of "stripeys", just use the YSW2 Mod Manager to temporarily deactivate that Mod.
