I loaded up the Azuma and route tutorials for the ECML route, and my thoughts were that narrator sounds like Sean Bean, could it be?
Couldn’t say for certain, but two things always come to mind with old Sean - Sharpe (though the books are much better) and GOT Season 1, the look of horror on Ned Stark’s face as Joffrey gives the thumbs down and the headsman steps forward. Great acting Sean, if you happen to read this!
I met him once, at a football match. He chatted to me for ages and brought me a pint. The man is a true gentleman and proper down to earth
And of course not forgetting he was in the Silent Hill films, great movies though I never actually played the games.
I acturally thought it was Ralph Ineson. As all I could think of Dacia Sandero cars when listening to him.
We need Sean back to a NPC DLC with spoken word LOL do some puzzles!! Time to go listen... The latest EA Sports WRC has a trailer and sounds like Sean Bean too.
He was doing the narration for TSC in 2014 and train buffs... all on youtube. I think the opening loading screen in TS2014 had Sean do the narration....
The LNER narration is all done by the same guy that does the voice over for LNER commercials too if I recall correctly. Not Sean Bean, sorry Matt.
The LNER introduction voiceover I thought sounded like Ralph Ineson (TV/Film Actor) according to one website LNER is listed as part of his voice acting work so maybe.
DTG Matt i was loading up the various routes and thought ‘this is not right, no Matt voiceover!! “ Then I did the Scotsman tutorial and all was well
Hope you can do a puzzle history DLC with Sean Bean riding trains with us and at stations etc?? Would be very immersive, especially if we could walk around a historic town or something. I know Train Sim World keeps getting better and better, but an immersive DLC such as 5 or 10 scenarios would be epic.
Sorry but can't hold myself here! Also just to cover myself this is a light hearted joke so don't see it any way but that.
LOL good fun... Who is driving the boat..... Also love the soundtrack almost identical to James Horner's Aliens Ship leaving the planet scene..... Patriot Games is a worthy successor to The Hunt for Red October.
