In yesterdays stream, Nat announced that the Season Ticket will be offered at a discount on release. For those who missed it: While I appreciate the discount and was positively surprised by this announcement, I have to say that the last weeks and months have been a disaster for DTG (PR wise and quality wise, in my personal opinion), who are putting their foot in it all the time, and this is the icing on the cake right now. It is always emphasized that we should be allowed to take an informed decision on our purchases, which I appreciate. But offering a launch discount that will probably not last until the last route is released, but only for a week or two, will force our hand to buy something which we haven't seen yet. We have seen nothing of Dresden-Riesa or London-Brighton, and with what has happened before (I don't want to bring up the branches on Dresden-Riesa, but I'll do it just to remind DTG I am still upset), I really want to see what I potentially buy. I do not know how others feel about this, but if you want to provide a launch discount and avoid another PR disaster, this launch discount has to be in place until London-Brighton releases, so that we actually have the chance to take an informed decision on all the content that we buy.
