I have noticed on some routes such as Dover Priory - London Charing Cross have randomly generated a 8 car service or a 4 car service is this random
They aren’t randomly generated but they are set. The 8 car formations are more likely in the morning and evening peak times, whereas the 4 cars are for services which usually aren’t that busier for example 14:00 services.
