Hello everyone, I recently bought SEHS and have now noticed that I don't have access to the Class 465 train. According to the description in the store, the train should be included in this package. I know the train used to be sold separately and was merged into a new package for TSW3. I'm playing TSW2, but the store says the content is compatible. Is SEHS sold incomplete? After all, it costs $40...
"Compatible" simply means that the DLC was once sold in a legacy version of Train Sim World. Southeastern Highspeed was never extended in TSW2. Unfortunately, no matter which version you buy, SEHS in TSW2 will not come with Dartford or Ashford International, and the Class 465 is a separate DLC. The route will be London St. Pancras International to Faversham via Gravesend with no branches. I don't know how refunds work on Playstation, but if it doesn't work out, the only option is to upgrade, I'm afraid.
Unfortunately this did not work. I'm not surprised that there are no problems with TSW3, as it was re-released for this purpose. So I don't think it's the PS5's fault. The refund regulations on the PlayStation are a bad joke, once you have downloaded the content there is practically no way to get your money back. As I wrote at the beginning, the fact of the separate DLC for TSW2 was known. However, I find it misleading that the content surrounding the Class 465 is listed in the description. I assumed that with this new package I would get access to the two old packages, after all the price has also been adjusted. I saw earlier in the in-game store that the Class 465 was not marked as purchased with a tick. Surprisingly, I was redirected to the PlayStation Store with one click, even though the DLC had actually been removed. It may still be possible to purchase this way. However, I have actually already bought the content, just as it says in the description. It doesn't feel right to me. I am sorry. It is indeed misleading. I think the idea was that people would buy it for TSW4, and everyone with TSW2 would already know that they would not get the extensions, since nobody new to the game would buy TSW2 (as it is unlisted now). It would be preferable for DTG to make it clear that players of TSW2 would not get the extra stuff, and would have to buy the 465 separately, but that would run the risk of confusing new players, who may be reluctant to buy it in case they have the wrong version of TSW (which they don't, but when you are new, you can never be too sure). However, if at any point you do decide to upgrade to TSW4, TSW5, or any future iterations of TSW, you will gain access to the extensions, new lighting, and the Class 465. If not, you will have to buy it separately, I'm afraid (without the new features).
