I believe that with the addition of GOBLIN the freight trains from there will begin at Dagenham Dock and Ripple Lane.
If so, we should also have some freight from Dollands Moor to Ripple Lane on SEHS. Since we have car carriers, we may as well have some services starting from Ashford and then heading onto HS1 to Ripple Lane.

I just believe its a nice small addition to have, so at least Ripple Lane would feel a bit busy and have a purpose as to why it's there.

We'd need the Class 92 for that.

Except in this case, Class 66s are 100% not native to the route.

You'll never find one pulling freight on HS1, they weren't designed for it.

    I've seen 92s hauling 66s on HS1[IMG][IMG]
(Would still require a 92, however.)

    Sarcastic, or realistic.

We all know what will happen.

"You may never escape the Grasp of the Class 66!"

Seriously though, it's way passed due for a new UK freight locomotive.

I mean, I get why. It seems that DTG is very content with re-using the Class 66, I'm not even sure why?
Like, I'm very confident that many... and I mean a GREAT many people would love to have a new UK Freight Loco.

Problem is there are so little other generally used freight locos that it's almost a gift to Dovetail. We'll get a new freight loco the day the class 66 retires, that is to say never.
