When the TSW4 day one patch was announced, I remember lots of cool additions to SEHS in the patch notes. These were further detailed back in the August Roadmap. Apparently there are unlockable gates and new easter eggs! Just wanted to ask if anyone has explored this new content yet?
Yes and they're pretty interesting. Near the Medway Viaduct on HS1 there is special bench you can sit on and trainspot and there is a cool easter egg in Ashford Depot at the back right hand corner of the depot that I won't spoil since it's quite interesting and worth looking at
Obvs not a TSW4 thing as I did it on TSW3 but I didn't realise you can ride a train for a good few minutes on the non playable line from Rochester which I thought was pretty cool. I only found it out a few weeks ago lol
Amazing! Will definitely have to check this out. That’s a good point actually. The line passes under HS1, so it must still be modeled quite well far away from the playable area. Will have to go for a ride on there, just like you did!
You can also spawn a train on the leader tracks at the depot & if you pull into the service bays, warning alarms go off!
Looks like our art team wasn't able to modify the cat to have three legs, although it's great to have a real-life tribute for Tripod (or in TSW's case "Quadpod"). I didn't know about this reference before, so thanks for sharing the link atomicdanny
Hint on location? I found the items within a few miles of Faversham alongside the track. They might be inside something.
Without giving away what it is, is it possible to show roughly where it is please as I've gone around and not found anything. Thank you
Which one? The depot one is in the far right hand corner at Ashford Depot, there's a door that you can open. The bench is a bit harder to find since you have to do some walking but if you search Google maps for Medway viaduct you'll find the approximate location.
