It will be great to use any traction on any route but how do you think dtg deals with useing locomotives that use overhead electricfaction or 3 rail power online that don't have them?

They’ll just work as if they have the correct power source.

Yeah, they touched on it briefly during the last QA. You can tick a box that allows the trains to operate on any track regardless of power source - or you can leave the box unticked and the trains will behave true to themselves and won’t work if not connected to power.

Do you think this mean MSB's dock area might see lots of unexpected traction visit it someday?
Not to mention rapid transits huge amount of unused track might finally get some traction action.
West Somerset will also perhaps see some other intresting visitors,(Let say you don't have all day to see the WS line,i'm sure the german ice 3m will get you in and out of the WS tour a little tiny bit faster then the slightly slower db br class 47 would.)

Assuming the 25mph speed limit can be overridden, the ICE 3 on WSR would be fun.

You don't have to turn on pbz or sifa which should make speed limits no problem.
