The Broad Street line (BSL) is SEPTA's (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority) second most ridden line other than the Market-Frankford line. The broad street line started service on September 1st 1928 also being the second oldest subway septa owns apart from the Market-Frankford line starting in 1907. The broad street line runs all night on weekends but on weekdays Sunday-Thursday SEPTA Runs night owl buses that are like shuttles. The Broad Street Line has 3 lines and 5 terminal stations (4 on weekends or rush hour) with the lines being:

    Broad Street Line (LOCAL)
The broad street line Local runs from Fern rock TC to NRG Stadium from 12:04AM to 11:45PM making all stops. The Broad Street Line Local is composed of 6 car Kawasaki BI-V Cars with White marker lights on the front.
    Broad Street Line (EXPRESS)
The broad street line express also runs from Fern Rock TC and terminates at Walnut-Locust from 6:15am to 7:02pm composed of 4 Kawasaki BI-V Cars with Green Marker lights on the front.
    Broad Ridge Spur
The Broad Ridge Spur starts at Olney TC on weekdays and ends at 8th-Market (starting at Fern Rock TC on weekdays) from 6am to 9pm with 2 car services and yellow lights.
    Rolling Stock
The Broad Street lines only have 1 train which is the Kawasaki BI-V founded in 1978 being SEPTA's Oldest train still in service. These trains have 2 livery's. The Orange livery and the grey livery.

    Why the Broad Street Lines?
The reasons I think the broad street line should be the next Addon or Subway in general is because the Broad Street Lines are unique to other subways being the only subway besides the Mta NYCT Subway to have a express train for an extended time. Also one of the last subways to use marker lights .
