    Hey,

I am creating a new scenario for the West Somerset railway. I have an AI Class 09 that comes out of the yard, couples to a set of coaches and then pulls these out of the yard and into the station. However, when it gets to the set of points to switch over to the station, it's just stopping. When I look at the route map it says "Shunter: Waiting at signal - waiting for Shunter". Shunter is the name of the service I have created.

So, from what I can tell it's waiting for itself? So, it will never be able to move? It doesn't matter where I set the go to instruction it seems to always get stuck?

Any ideas what's going on. I have the scenario set to use the dispatcher.

Remember that in order to change direction a train must first get permission to move from a signal. Look at where your reversing point is - in Minehead for example you have to go right out beyond the level crossing and use the signal there to set your path back into the station on a different line.

Ah, that would be exactly what's happening then. I'm not going out far enough. I wondered why it was going all the way out there when automatically finding paths.

    Thanks Matt!
