The over speed limit triggers at around 0.5 of the limit example if the speed limit is 75 then the game counts around 75.5 and above as speeding causing loss of points this shouldn’t be the case as you would still be doing the speed limit not over this can be particularly difficult on locos like the DB 143 as it’s an afb lever throttle which means either do 10km under the speed limit or high risk of over speed
