The historic Settle-Carlisle Line in North West England near the border of Scotland would be a great route for TSW5. The route is in TS Classic and the old Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS). It would be a good choice for DTG to make a really great version of this popular route and add it to the newer game. As for locomotives, the Flying Scotsman would be great to see on this route handling a steam excursion. A Class 50 "Hoover" (included in the old MSTS as a free DLC) could be cool to see as well as some other new locos other than the ubiquitous Class 66. I'd suggest a Class 37, Class 60, Class 68, or Class 57.

Pretty much all the classic diesels already available would be at home on the S&C - Class 31, 40, 45 and 47 all fairly regular performers on loco hauled passenger services at one time or another. Throw in a rake of Blue/Grey Mark Ones (adding a RMB) and would sell like hot cakes.
