I have observed that any track grade below approximately 0.5% produces behaviour opposite to what would be physically expected. Specifically:

    • When traveling uphill on a grade less than 0.5%, the train accelerates.

    • When traveling downhill on a grade less than 0.5%, the train decelerates, despite the expected increase in speed due to gravity.
This create an issue for me as I am a route creator and 90% of it is on shallow grades. I don’t know when this will get looked at, but I want to voice my concerns here.

if I knew where this was to correct it, I would try to fix it. I imagine the community has noticed it, but most mapmakers would try to avoid The shallow grades, as I can only speculate

If you do tell DTG it won't make any difference - they are not doing any development on TSC - AFAIK
