The UEVR injector program works brilliantly with TSW4 allowing the game to be run in virtual reality (VR). I use an X-Box controller which is perfectly usable “by touch only” and occasionally need to use the keyboard (lifting up the headset to do so). However, what causes most difficulty in VR is operating the cab switches. The ones crucial to getting the train working (such as the control key / control switch / field switch etc.) do not have a keyboard shortcut. Therefore the only option is to try and seek them out by pointing the headset (worn or otherwise) in conjunction with the mouse. This is a “blind man’s buff” exercise as the location of the “hot spots” is not accurate at all. The only other option is to purchase a “RailDriver” whose buttons map to these more obscure controls. It would be really useful if these key cab switches could have a keyboard shortcut – ideally labelled in the displayed prompt.
