The two Mainline Welsh Routes were released then an extended version released later with a discount for the first version available when buying the second one as well.
Is this going to be the norm and how long after the first version shall I wait for the second?
And should DTG offer the deal to those who've already purchased the first to?
And why not release them as one route? With scenarios covering the whole length.
With ECML almost complete could we see a full Edinburgh to Euston scenario. On one complete route addon?

Basically no. DTG have only recently (last year really) started extending routes rather than having distinct routes and much of the work of merging routes to allow for extended scenarios is being done by third parties (some on workshop, some on external websites etc) but they then become separate routes under TSx

using the example you quoted the ECML missing link will give us coverage of the entire route, and someone is working on merging them all into one very long route, which will allow scenarios along the entire length (if you like 5 hour long scenarios of course), BUT it's not like all of your ECML routes will merge or the scenarios you have now will work on that new route. They won't
