    I watched the video and I like the series of these which LNER are doing. It would be great to get LNER in game and forth bridge.

    Agreed I have the Waverley route in ts21 and it’s biggest let down is the game engine. Id love them to port that entire route and trains across

    Only drawback is it’s 93 miles according to google.

    Just going as far as Dundee should be within sensibility.

    Yes this is my one of my favourite routes, I think the best way would be to do Edinburgh - Dundee and Dundee - Aberdeen. Would buy both as soon as they went on pre-order! :)

    Are there routes that run through the highlands? Are they all passengers or freight too? I recall seeing a train near Mallaig and Newtonmore so assuming there is something scenic up that way. (southerner with scot (not literally) in him)).

    The Highland Main Line
    The Highland Mainline runs from Perth - Inverness, mostly passenger with some freight, the best known freight is the Tesco train. 118 miles 9 chains (190.1 km)

    The West Highland Line
    The West Highland Line runs between Glasgow - Fort William/Mallaig/Oban, again mostly passenger but with timber trains often seen. 205 miles 57 chains (331.1 km)

    The Tesco Train
    "The trains are branded in the familiar Tesco logo style reading “Less CO2 Rail”. Trains running from Daventry to Mossend operate six days per week carrying 32 loads each way. Trains running from Mossend to Inverness operate six days per week carrying 20 loads each way." (Quoted from Google)

    I actually suggested this off the back of seeing this video;
    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/ecml-edinburgh-dundee.42181/

    Also;
    There are these lines:
    • Aberdeen - Inverness Line
    • Far North Line
      • Inverness - Wick
      • Inverness - Thurso
    • The Kyle Line
      • Inverness - Kyle of Lochalsh
    • West Highland Line
      • Glasgow - Fort William/Mallaig
      • Glasgow - Oban
    • Highland Mainline
      • Perth - Inverness
    So there's quite a few.

    I would love to see the Far North line set in the 1970's with class 24's and 26's and a layer for the class 40. I would love to see how the scenery looks on TSW. Or failing that the West Highland line, I do love the TS1 version with the RETB system.

    The Aberdeen to Inverness line would also be good as period route when they had their small allocation of Swindon class 120 units.

    Still I imagine if we got/get any of these routes it will be with a Turbostar.

    I think if they went with the modern versions of these routes it would be 158 (Far North) & 156 (West Highland) only except for Inverness-Aberdeen, which could have a 170 and 158

    Yes of course, I had forgotten the 156's were on the West Highland line.

    What DTG can do is bundle all the Scottish routes north of Edinburgh and Glasgow into a single bundle Northern Scotland lines by remaking those classic train simulator 21 routes into TSW2 routes like the West Highland Mainline.

    West Highland Line Extension (Fort William to Mallaig) is probably the strongest contender for any TSW highland area route.
