Is the shunting control on the DB BR 401 operational? And if so, how does it work? I found this thread with a awnser for the 185 and 143 which seem to work for those loco's but not for the 401.
They aren't really "shunting controls" in the sense a proper shunter or some freight locos have. Rather, it's a remote control station if the driver has to operate the train while looking out the window.
