In a general service would you rather have A = only/mostly green signals or B = a combination of green/yellow and the occasional red. I would opt for B, especially with PZB :).
This is more of an extreme example but: If you're playing on a "dead" route with dull scenery and you know you'll only encounter green signals, it's not very engaging. At the moment at least on console HMA and SKA with all the unlockable services certainly don't feel "dead" overall, but I believe there are too many greens. Of course, there are many reasons for this as older consoles have a layering/memory issue, SKA and definitely HMA are incredibly dense routes in reality, and not all the rolling stock and route add-ons have arrived yet. Those factors all restrict the size of the timetable and expand the distance between two trains enabling more greens. DTG is not at fault here, for the german routes, they are following the exact official timetable published by DB. This is just an observation and my opinion. I do think in the future the next-gen consoles will enable the timetable to be expanded and quite a few loco add-ons will add even more. I believe SKA and HMA will only get busier busier and busier in the future. Which is fantastic!

To sum this all up, I prefer a tight busy route with frequent yellow/green signal aspects keeping me on the edge of my seat. Because some routes in TSW you can just set the throttle to max and not worry about any upcoming signals as they are all green. There are different playing styles so feel free to disagree, but I am just curious about what you think and like.
