I think this could be very useful for commuter - high speed routes as usually the high speed train would get priority. For example on sehs, A javelin that is stopping at say Stratford international would not get priority over a Eurostar/tgv/ice that should be speeding past at 225km/h just because it left St. Pancras before the eurostar. Same example for SKA just because the talent 2 got to horrem. First that doesn’t mean that a ice 3m that should be at 250km/h should be stopped alongside waiting for the talent 2. To leave. So i think signaling should be introduced. Obviously it won’t be easy and simple as we imagine but it would be something even to just have a box that says: this train gets priority.
