Signalman Mode

    They should add something like this into the game it would make it more realistic and more interesting aswell it would definitely work on something like the West Somerset railway route

    It would be more interesting on manually signalled routes, though I would need to relearn the bell codes! :)

    Perhaps if combined with driving (as in Run 8) might help overcome some of the lockups.

    The two drawbacks I can see are that, 1. AFAIK all trains in TSW run on a pre defined path so you cannot vary or take action to (say) regulate a freight train to get it out the way of a fast passenger train. 2. For powerbox or ROC controlled lines you are going to be sat at a NX Panel or computer display and have no real view or interaction with the trains. 3. I still fire up SimSig or the old SIAM and PC Rail stuff occasionally but interesting though I personally find that side of things, it may not have the broader appeal of thrashing a train down the main line.

    But the idea does have merit.

    London Commuter signalling on multiplayer would be great fun!
